14 DAY TRIAL // Monolith Studios has revealed more details regarding the upcoming The Bright Lord DLC, for the acclaimed action-adventure video game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
The game is getting yet another piece of downloadable content, and players will be able to take on the role of Celebrimor himself, the Elven Lord who forged the powerful Rings of Power, and who acted as a supporting character during the main campaign.
The Bright Lord will add a brand new campaign, consisting of ten different missions, and showing Celebrimor making use of his own Ring of Power in the battle against Sauron.
Furthermore, you'll also be able to use the One Ring to become invisible, and being an Elf, you'll be able to shoot arrows really, really fast.
As the action takes places at the height of Sauron's power, you will have to take on a more challenging enemy, a powerful Elite Orc Army. The DLC will also include a Challenge Mode with harder enemies.
A more challenging piece of content
The Elf Lord's array of domination options will be increased, with him getting a new area-of-effect spell that can hit several enemy Orcs at once, and use Shadow Brand to teleport directly into a domination.
Furthermore, by employing the twisted magic of the One Ring, he will be able to use his abilities while invisible, and even sacrifice his followers to regain health.
Be wary though, as Sauron wields considerable power himself, and he will be able to turn your dominated followers against you, as ShackNews reports.
You will also be able to face a wider variety of enemies, with more powerful abilities. Further balance changes meant to make the entire experience more challenging have been worked into the game, preventing you from becoming overly powerful after maxing your skill tree.
