“Cloud CRM for Less” is a special deal involving cash incentives that Microsoft set up to get customers to switch from rival CRM solutions to Dynamics CRM Online. Launched earlier this year as a Cloud equivalent of Dynamics CRM 2011, Dynamics CRM Online costs just $44/user/month, but the Redmond company wasn’t going to let the price alone to convince potential customers.

Even as early as 2010, companies using Salesforce.com or Oracle customer relationship management solutions have had the option to get as much as $200 back from Microsoft for each Dynamics CRM Online license they acquired.

But the “Cloud CRM for Less” deal was limited to a maximum of only 250 seats, namely a total of $50,000 in cash. This is no longer the case.

Existing Salesforce.com and Oracle customers that make the jump to Dynamics CRM Online can get as much as $150 per seat, but they can do so for as many as 500 licenses.

“Customers choose Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online over solutions from Oracle, Salesforce.com and SAP to get compelling increases in productivity and user adoption, as well as significant reductions in ongoing costs,” reveals Brad Wilson, general manager, Microsoft Dynamics CRM product management group.

“We feel that Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online delivers the best CRM service in the market — and at an extremely compelling price point.”

The bottom line? A company that dumps Salesforce.com or Oracle and migrates 500 users to Dynamics CRM online can get no less than $75,000 back from Microsoft. The sum should at least help out with the migration costs, if nothing else.

“This promotion begins on August 29, 2011, and ends on March 31, 2012 or while supplies last and is limited to companies located in the United States and Canadian that acquire a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 500 Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Subscription licenses. Companies must commit to a minimum of a two (2) year Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Subscription license contract for each Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Subscription license acquired under this promotion,” the software giant said.
