Microsoft is looking to hand out a number of Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundles for those ready to share their advertising stories with the world.

Advertising Week 8 debuts today, October 3rd, 2011 and lasts throughout the week, until October 7. Also launching today is Microsoft’s new Tell Us Your Advertising Week Story" contest.

Participants worldwide can enter this particular contest from the software giant, save for those in the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.

Additional restrictions do apply, so those interested in participating need to first read the Microsoft "Tell Us Your Advertising Week Story" contest official rules, which are available via this link.

“Jump into our “Tell Your Story: Tweet to Win” contest and you could win an Xbox 360 + Kinect bundle. Tell us your story in 140, a pic or a video with #aw8Story,” Microsoft revealed.

“One winner will be chosen daily, Monday thru Friday (10/3/11 - 10/7/11). Entries submitted after 9:00pm (EST) will be considered for the following day and the contest will close at 9:00pm, Friday, October 7th. Winner will be notified via Twitter and will receive a 8Gb Xbox 360 + Kinect bundle.”

Mel Carson, Microsoft Advertising's Digital Marketing Evangelist, and Doug Zander, Advertising Week's Head of Social Media, are the ones who name the winners, so they’re the ones participants need to impress with the creativity and popularity of their entries.

Microsoft is ready to offer a total of five Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundles, one for each day of the contest. The total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of all prizes is no less than $1,500, according to information from the Redmond company.

“If you are a potential winner, we will notify you by sending a direct message to the Twitter account provided at time of entry within seven (7) days following completion of judging. If the notification that we send is returned as undeliverable, or you are otherwise unreachable for any reason, we may award to a runner-up,” the software giant said.
