Microsoft is currently pushing out a new platform to ensure that users can easily stay on top of their multiple accounts and IDs.

Called Microsoft Your Account, the new platform comes as a direct replacement of the old Billing Account Management portal.

It has not been completely rolled out as of now, but it appears that Microsoft is well underway with the move, and that it might offer a formal announcement on the matter soon.

With the new Microsoft Your Account, users will be able to easily manage a variety of Microsoft account types, including MSN, Windows Live, Windows Phone, Xbox and Zune.

“Your Microsoft account lets you view your purchases from Microsoft online services and update your account information,” the company explains on the platform’s website.

The website will provide users with access to a series of options related to payments and subscriptions.

The main features of the new platform include:

Account & Payment Options Review and update your billing-related details as well as your credit cards.

Subscriptions

View all your Microsoft subscriptions in one place. Renew your services easily.

Transactions

Monitor your purchase history and recent transaction status.

However, to benefit from the capabilities the new website has to offer to them, users will need to have billing relationships with Microsoft.

Otherwise, they will be redirected to Microsoft’s MSN service as soon as they log in into Microsoft Your Account. In this case, users are presented with the following message:

This Windows Live ID does not currently have a billing relationship with Microsoft. MSN offers a variety of services that you may subscribe to. For more information, go to http://get.msn.com

Microsoft Your Account will be active in the upcoming Windows 8 platform, and is expected to replace the current Windows Live ID. However, it currently appears to be a portal that enables users to better manage their activity across various services from Microsoft.
