Microsoft is clearly one of the best companies to work for, so if you're living in Ireland and you feel ready to work for a global corporation, this is the right moment to contact the software giant.

Microsoft announced at this weekend’s Career Zoo recruitment fair at The Convention Centre, Dublin, that a total of 100 employees would be hired in the next few months, as it wants to fill open positions in areas such as development, sales, operations and supply chain.

The company hasn't provided too many details on this new hiring campaign and its website only lists a total of 39 jobs available, but more information is very likely to be provided soon.

Human Resources Manager at Microsoft Ireland Joe Ffrench confirmed Microsoft's plan to hire new people and emphasized that Microsoft is doing its best to hire talented people in spite of these high unemployment times.

“At a time of high unemployment the technology sector continues to offer great opportunities for people with the right skills,” he was quoted as saying by The Sociable.

“It is critical for Ireland’s future economic stability that we showcase the employment opportunities available right now and seek to retain our bright, young people who have the skills that are badly needed in the country right now. Career Zoo presents an ideal opportunity for us to do that.”

Microsoft knows how to make its employees happy and recently announced that each of the 94,000 workers worldwide would receive brand new Windows 8 devices, including Windows Phones, Windows 8 laptops or computers and Surface tablets. The company will spend up to $130 million (€99 million) on the devices to be offered to its workers.
