Under the slogan "We love technology. You love technology. Welcome home," Microsoft has unveiled the UltimatePC Beta designed to keep Windows Vista Service Pack 1 company. With UltimatePC Beta, Microsoft aims to no more and no less focus users on the high-end edition of Windows Vista, as well as the inherent hardware infrastructure. You want to find out the Ultimate photography setup? How about the Ultimate home theater system. And if this is not enough, for the gaming beast in you, the Ultimate gaming setup. The website features blueprints, profiles, extras and exclusives, showcases and resources associated with Ultimate Windows Vista machines.

"We, the Windows Vista ultimate team at Microsoft, have built this site to accomplish two very basic things. 1. We hope to inspire you to try new things and ultimately get more of your PC by showcasing what people are accomplishing with their version of the Ultimate PC. 2. We want to make sure you, as a Windows Vista Ultimate customer, are getting as much value from the experience as possible," reads an announcement from the Windows Vista Ultimate team.

And most importantly, it seems that while Windows Vista Ultimate Extras are dead for quite some time, they are in fact sufficiently alive and kicking as to transition to the UltimatePC Beta website. But if you actually expected Microsoft to deliver additional Windows Vista Ultimate Extras, you will be disappointed. The Redmond company has nothing new to share in this category. Nothing! Yes, by all means, welcome home, what's that comatose thing in the corner there? Nothing. Just Ultimate Extras...

"Lastly and most importantly, UltimatePC will keep you up to date on Ultimate Extras - new and helpful features of Windows Vista Ultimate that we're able to deliver directly to your PC using Windows Update. We're also offering a new benefit to Ultimate customers on UltimatePC called Ultimate Exclusives. Ultimate Exclusives are one-of-a-kind offers that are only available to Windows Vista Ultimate customers for free or discounted software, PC hardware and services or access to industry events," the Windows Vista Ultimate team added.
