It's a well known fact that Microsoft's products have a lot of security issues, and this truth is once again confirmed by the company from Redmond.

Thus, Microsoft has posted a message on its site in which it announced the launch of three new security bulletins, out of which two refer to certain problems encountered by the Windows operating system and one to the Office suite. However, at least one of the security alerts for Windows and the one for Office are deemed "critical". According to the company's message, the patches for these bugs will be launched on Tuesday.

The company from Redmond views as "critical" any security problem that could allow a malicious Internet worm to spread without any action required on the part of the user.

Microsoft didn't specify which Windows components will be targeted by these updates, although it looks like Internet Explorer might be one of them, considering the fact that earlier this week yet another serious vulnerability affecting Microsoft's browser has been discovered.

The company also announced that it will launch a "high-priority update" for the Office suite, which is not related to its possible security problems, though. Moreover, Tuesday is also tagged for the release of an updated version of the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, which detects and removes malicious code placed on computers, the company said.
