Windows 8.1 comes with improvements for the Snap View mode as well, so you can now run three or even four applications side by side on a device running Microsoft’s new OS.

Microsoft has used the latest update received by Hulu Plus as the perfect occasion to talk big about the new Snap View mode available in Windows 8.1, explaining that apps such as this one makes it extremely easy to run multiple programs side by side in the modern UI.

The latest update that was released for Hulu Plus brings split screen support, searches using the charms bar and options to pin favorites to the Start screen for instant access.

And since Snap View mode is now supported by Hulu as well, Microsoft took a few seconds to praise the Windows 8.1 feature again.

“With Snap View, you can watch Hulu Plus while you’re also browsing the Web, checking email or doing work. And because life can interrupt your show viewing at any time, you can pause and resume playback across devices, including on your Windows Phone,” the company said.

As far as Hulu Plus is concerned, the application comes with support for all Windows 8.1 versions on the market, so you can install it on both desktop computers and tablets.

The app boasts a rich feature package that includes options to watch TV shows, new movies, or classic series straight in the Modern UI.

It supports not only the aforementioned snap view, but also full screen, while also offering settings to customize the live tile and get quick information about the new available shows right on the Start screen.

The app can also be used on TVs and other connected devices in HD for a small fee every month, so go ahead and download Hulu for Windows 8.1 right away to enjoy all these features.
