Albert Penello, one of the executives working on the pre-launch program for the Xbox One, says that the video games that his company is creating on the next-gen home console are better than anything that Sony can offer on the PlayStation 4.

He tells Rev3 Games that, “I don’t believe that the difference between these two platforms is significant as comparing individual components. I’m a big car fan, how is it that a 300 or 400 horsepower Porsche can be faster than a 700 horsepower Corvette? When it comes to RAM, they made one decision on RAM, we made another.”

Many industry observers have said that the PS4 is more powerful in terms of raw hardware than the Xbox One, but the difference between the two devices will only be clear once they are available to play in November.

Penello adds, “I know there are a lot of people that want to compare those things on paper, and look at these individual components, but for me it comes down to the games, it comes down to the experiences. And I look at games like Ryse, I look at Forza, I don’t see anything better on a competing platform that I’m seeing there.”

Forza 5 is a racing title that will use the power of the Xbox One and its cloud capabilities in order to create more capable Artificial Intelligence for the computer controlled cars, which will evolve as the gamers play more races.

Ryse: Son of Rome is an action game with impressive graphics created by Crytek, which will use Quick Time Events in order to render a true battlefield experience.

The Xbox One will be launched on 13 core markets on November 22.

The PlayStation 4 will be available in North America on November 15 and will only come to Europe two weeks later.
