14 DAY TRIAL // A collection of sample applications available via the Microsoft Download Center are set up to allow customers to use them as examples of integrations that Web Services for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 make possible. Essentially, what the Redmond company is offering is a set of applications that have been created with Web Services for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010.
The resources are offered free of charge to customers which can go ahead and grab them immediately.
There are no less than three samples included in the WebServiceSampleApps.exe download, namely PMInvoice2010, SOPDisplayLineItems2010 and SOPInvoiceTaxesSample2010.
The software giant made sure to provide a description of the Web Services for Dynamics GP 2010 Sample Applications:
“•PMInvoice2010.zip – Retrieves a list of vendors and creates a payable management invoice transaction in Microsoft Dynamics GP through the Dynamics GP Web Service.
•SOPDisplayLineItems2010.zip – Retrieves a SOP Invoice, displays the line items, and allows updating the SOP Invoice through the Dynamics GP Web Service.
•SOPInvoiceTaxesSample2010.zip - Provides examples of policy settings required for a Web Service application to provide unit price and tax detail information, rather than having the Dynamics GP Web Service default this information. This sample also has the code necessary to create pricing and tax information in a Web Services application.”
Obviously, the .EXE file is only designed to allow customers to easily extract to contents. Additionally, users will still need to extract all the samples from the .ZIP files individually.
According to the Redmond company, in excess of 41,000 customers worldwide are already running Dynamics GP 2010 for their organization’s financial operations.
Recently, the software giant revealed that it will be able to wrap up the successor of Dynamics GP 2010 in the coming year.
Microsoft expects to deliver Dynamics GP 2010 R2 to customers worldwide by-2011, although a specific release deadline wasn’t provided at this point in time.
