The single-SIM version of Lumia 535 has just been released in Canada. The smartphone launched back in December ships with Windows Phone 8.1 right out of the box, but it will probably be upgraded to Windows 10 when Microsoft releases it.

Potential customers can now purchase the Lumia 535 via Microsoft Canada online store for just $180. For that amount, you will get the unlocked version of Lumia 535 and free shipping if you agree to receive the smartphone in 3-7 business days.

Microsoft Lumia 535 is already available in many countries around the world, and it's one of the most popular budget-friendly smartphones powered by Windows Phone.

The smartphone sports a decent 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports qHD (540 x 960 pixels resolution) and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

Dual 5-megapixel cameras, Gorilla Glass 3 and quad-core CPU

When it comes to hardware, Microsoft Lumia 535 is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 302 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

That should be enough to run just about any games and apps you throw at it. Since Windows Phone is very well optimized, users should not have any issues from this part either.

Although the Lumia 535 comes with only 8GB of internal memory, users will be able to further expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, the budget-friendly Windows Phone handset packs a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's another 5-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.

Microsoft Lumia 535 is powered by a 1,905 mAh battery and offers a wide range of connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS and GLONASS.
