A not-so-little startup company up in the great Northwest looking for some extra geniuses

Are you a genius? Then, Microsoft wants YOU! No really, although the Redmond company is pushing the 80,000 employee milestone, the fact of the matter is that it could very well do with a few extra geniuses "lying" around. Well, in all fairness... there's also a tad of hard labor involved, but nothing that a genius couldn't handle... So, as the genius headcount over at Redmond could do with some extra additions, the company is offering the Hey-Genius website.

And just in case that a six figure annual salary and the privilege to impact billions of peoples with your technology don't sound appealing enough to convince a genius to fatten up Microsoft's ranks, the company made available a black and white Flash based website that is sure to do the trick.

"We know you're a genius in some way or another. Whether you're code crazy, binary brilliant or master of origami dollhouses, it's all good by us. So if you're feeling genius at the moment, or just want to take a cerebral siesta, come take a look around", reads the welcoming message posted on the Hey-Genius website.

By the looks of it, in the end, Microsoft's definition of a genius is pretty ambiguous, and with a tad of luck, just about anyone can slip through. This if the prospect of working for Microsoft does not send cold shivers down your spine. But in the end, all you have to do is stare at the animated characters on the Hey-Genius site, they'll sell Microsoft to you in no time.

Just look at what one of them has to say: "So, hi, we're Microsoft - A not-so-little startup company up here in the great Northwest. We know a lot of you think you know us. Some of you really do. But if you have never been here, we wanted to make sure you knew that you could have a great career and life here. We are a bunch of people like you. Actually a lot like you. Yes, we are a big company, but we act like a lot of small companies. In some respects we have a lot of startups going on all the time." Convinced yet?
