Microsoft will be an integral component of a very exclusive lineup of music stars and Hollywood celebrities that are massing for this year's Grammy Awards. However, the Redmond company will stop short of the Grammy Awards and will certainly not be stealing the night by hugging the most Grammys. Instead, MSN is the official title sponsor of the Clive Davis' legendary Pre-Grammy Party. This position will also enable Microsoft to deliver an exclusive inside peep to MSN users, at the music industry's exclusive Grammy event. Besides being the title poster, MSN will also broadcast the Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party online, on Fenruary 9, 2008.

"MSN's exclusive webcast of Clive Davis' legendary Pre-Grammy Party highlights our commitment to providing fans with a variety of extraordinary music and entertainment experiences," said Rob Bennett, general manager of entertainment, video and sports, MSN. "We are proud to be a part of this renowned evening, which brings together the recording industry's finest talent and biggest celebrity names for a night of unforgettable music."

Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party has become imprinted in Hollywood history as a must-attend event, essentially setting the stage for the Grammy Awards. The party, on the eve of the Grammys, is known for attracting the who's who of celebrities, from Alicia Keys, Pink, Foo Fighters, Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas, Kanye West, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Nelly, Carlos Santana and Ludacris, to Prince, Jennifer Lopez, Vice President Al Gore, Sharon Stone, Meg Ryan, Terrence Howard, Lance Armstrong, Britney Spears, Nick Lachey, Martha Stewart and many more.

MSN users will be able to access the musical performances of the evening starting with February 10. And on top of this, Microsoft will also offer videos with interviews from the red carpet. On February 11, MSN will start offering the performances on-demand.

"We are delighted to welcome MSN as a first-time sponsor of what is always one of the entertainment industry's biggest nights. We are thrilled to have MSN present this exclusive star-studded show to a worldwide audience," added Tom Corson, Executive Vice President and General Manager, RCA Music Group.
