According to the Redmond-based company, anyone upgrading from an older Lumia smartphone to a new one, as well as those who switch from other platforms, will receive $90 worth of free Gameloft in-app purchase credits.
The promotional offer is available from today and is supposed to run through November 30, 2015, so there's plenty of time to take advantage of it. Microsoft has also confirmed that this exclusive offer is available globally in every single country in the world.
Keep in mind that the $90 Gameloft gift pack consists of free in-app purchase credits that can be redeemed in the popular games Asphalt Overdrive, Pastry Paradise, and Rival Knights.
For example, in Asphalt Overdrive, players will be rewarded with a Safe of Gold valued at $19.99, while Pastry Paradise will give aspiring chefs a yummy Pot of Medals also valued at $19.99. Also, Rival Knights fans can enjoy a Barrel of 1,350 Gems valued at $49.99.
Your activation codes will be sent via email
In order to claim this exclusive offer, you will first need to purchase a new Microsoft Lumia smartphone (any model). Then simply download the Switch Gift application, which is available for free via Windows Phone Store.
As soon as the application validates your new Lumia smartphone, enter the 15-digit IMEI number from your old device, which can be found in the “About” section of the phone's settings.
Once the process ends successfully, you will be asked to enter your email address, where your will receive the activation codes and instructions for your Gameloft gift pack. Simply activate these codes and start playing your favorite games.
