It’s been only a few weeks since Nokia Lumia 630 went on sale worldwide and Microsoft continues to pour money into its promotion campaign, which isn’t that great after all.

Perhaps the next wave of Windows Phone handsets will be advertised much more aggressively, but until then, let’s see how Microsoft recommends the Lumia 630 to those who are still undecided on whether or not to switch to a new mobile platform.

Well, first of all, Nokia Lumia 630 is a major upgrade from Lumia 620 and 625, so you might as well grab the new phone without reading what Microsoft has to say about its latest Windows Phone device.

First of all, Lumia 630 comes with a much better processor, slightly better display and newer operating system. It will take a while until Windows Phone 8.1 is available for Lumia 620 and Lumia 625, so for the time being, this is an advantage.

In fact, this is one of the recommendations that Microsoft mentions in its infographic, “why choose a lesser OS when you can have Windows Phone 8.1.”

The Redmond-based company also highlights the fact that Lumia 630 comes packed with a more powerful 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor inside, as opposed to Lumia 625 and other affordable Windows Phone 8 handsets powered by dual-core CPUs.

Another major improvement is the dual-SIM capability, which is not available in any other Windows Phone 8 handset available on the market. According to Microsoft, users will be able to “enable call waiting and call forwarding between two SIM cards, while managing the phone costs and social circles.”

The phone’s battery is much larger than Lumia 620, but slightly smaller than Lumia 625’s. Nokia rated Lumia 630’s 1830 mAh battery for up to 600 hours of standby time or up to 16 hours of talk time (13 hours in 3G mode).

Nokia Lumia 630 comes with only 8GB of internal memory, just like its predecessors, but users can expand storage up to 128GB via microSD memory card. Obviously, you also get an extra 7GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive.

The Lumia 630 sports a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating, whereas the Lumia 620 packs a much smaller 3.5-inch display. However, Lumia 625 comes with a slightly larger 4.7-inch screen.
