Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 has been available for approximately a month now, but despite this, Microsoft is still one week away from launching the ERP solution. In this regard, there’s still time for customers around the world to register for the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 virtual launch event which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 8th, at 9:00am Pacific Time.

The 90-minute Virtual Launch event will be offered free of charge by the software giant and will feature top company executives.

Here is what Microsoft listed under the ‘Featured speakers and other event information’ section of the official site set up for the virtual launch:

“Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO - Driving innovation and business solutions for customers with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and the broader Microsoft portfolio.

Kirill Tatarinov, President, Microsoft Business Solutions Division - Introducing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Microsoft’s vision for the dynamic business.

Nigel Montgomery, Research Director, Gartner - Understanding trends impacting ERP solutions and how they should shape your purchasing decisions.”

There are only eight days left until the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Virtual Launch will start next week, plenty of time for those that haven’t registered to do so.

For those not familiar with the product, Dynamics AX 2012 is an enterprise resource planning offering, designed to increase the efficiency of business decisions.

“At the virtual launch event, you’ll also have the opportunity to: see product demos; hear directly from customers and partners; watch product tours specific to your business, industry, or role; collaborate with your peers through feeds and community forums; and chat with product experts,” the Redmond company said.

Microsoft released Dynamics AX 2012 at the start of August 2011, and even provided the first Cumulative Update for the product. Dynamics AX 2012 Cumulative Update 1 has been available via Partner Source and Customer Source.
