Microsoft has unveiled today the price for its next generation gaming console. Everybody already knows that Xbox 360 will be sold for two prices, $299 for the version without HDD and with a wired controller and $399 for the extended version, which includes a HDD, a wirelss controller and an Xbox Live membership.

In the same time Microsoft unveiled the possibilities of customization for Xbox 360 and released the prices for the accessories.

Beside the Xbox 360 Hard Drive, which will be sold for $99.99, and Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, which can be bought for $49.99, there are a plenty of accessories for Xbox 360.

Xbox 360 Memory Unit (64 MB) lets gamers save games, in-game achievements and unique gamer profiles for quick and easy access on the go, at an estimated retail price of $39.99.

Microsoft offers also an Xbox 360 Play & Charge Kit. This allows plug and play for high-performance, precision wireless gaming with the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for $19.99 and an Xbox 360 rechargeable battery pack.

For those who want to play on Xbox Live, Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter and Xbox 360 Headset are some useful accessories and the prices are $99.99 and $19.99.

Microsoft offers for $29.99 the Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote which lets consumers play DVDs, movies and music, as well as control a TV and their Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005-based PC controls with a single controller.

The list includes also Xbox 360 S-Video AV Cable (U.S. only) and Xbox 360 SCART AV Cable (Europe only). This versatile cable works for both high-definition and standard-definition TVs that use S-Video or composite video inputs. It provides optimal audio and video signal transfer.

As you can see if you will choose the $299 version of Xbox 360, it can be transformed in a very sophisticated gaming console with some investments.
