Micromax has been rumored recently to launch a new flagship smartphone in the form of Canvas 5 A350, but it seems that the company is also preparing affordable devices for launch, one of which should arrive on shelves as the Micromax Canvas A200 Turbo Mini

The handset has just emerged online in a leaked press photo, courtesy of @MMXNewscaster, who proved a reliable source of info on upcoming Micromax devices before.

The upcoming handset will arrive on the market as a successor of the Canvas A200, which was spotted online back in December. However, the Canvas A200 hasn’t been officially launched as of now, as BGR India notes.

The leaked photo is the only thing that is available on Canvas A200 Turbo Mini for the time being, though chances are that more details on it will be provided soon.

Apparently, Micromax is getting ready for the launch of a new handset on January 24, and this device might be unveiled there.

Provided that Canvas A200 Turbo Mini indeed becomes official in a few days, the Canvas A200 is also expected to be announced then.

According to previous reports on this smartphone, Micromax would be set to bring it to the market with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display of unknown resolution, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 2.

Moreover, the mobile phone is said to sport a 1.3GHz quad-core processor inside, paired with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory (unfortunately, no microSD memory card slot has been mentioned).

On the back, Micromax Canvas A200 Turbo Mini should feature an 8-megapixel camera, paired with a 5MP front camera for making video calls. The smartphone is also expected to be powered by an 1800mAh battery.

With no official confirmation on the above, we’ll take the info with a grain of salt for the time being. However, more on the matter should be provided in the not too distant future, so stay tuned to learn the news.
