Micromax announced the first smartphone in the Bolt series last month, but the A35 did not make it to shelves until today.

It looks like Infibeam is the first Indian retailer to offer the Micromax A35 Bolt Ninja, but Flipkart has it as well, though it’s listed as “out of stock.”

The affordable dual-SIM smartphone is available at Infibeam for only Rs 4,249 outright, which is about $80 or €60. Check it out here.

Micromax A35 Bolt Ninja is only available in black color and will ship within 24 hours since the order has been received.

Aside from dual-SIM and low price, other selling points of the A35 Bolt Ninja might be the fact that it packs a pretty decent 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 65k colors.

The phone’s 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery should provide users with up to 175 hours of standby time or up to 4.5 hours of talk time.

When it comes to connectivity, Micromax A35 Bolt Ninja doesn’t stand out from other budget-friendly smartphones.

It does not come with 3G support, but users will be able to take advantage of the phone’s GPRS and EDGE data speeds. There’s also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, which should help users browse the internet or share files.

Hardware-wise, the A35 Bolt Ninja is far from being impressive, but it wasn’t intended anyway. The phone comes equipped with a single-core processor clocked at 1GHz, a Mali-300 GPU and 256MB of RAM.

Users will probably be pleased to know that even if Micromax A35 Bolt Ninja packs only 160MB of internal memory, they will be able to further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Last but not least, Micromax A35 Bolt Ninja ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system out of the box, and is likely to remain on this version of the mobile platform.
