20-minute short documentary shows the way the King of Pop was wronged in life

As we were also saying a while back in one of our editorials, the world has wronged Michael Jackson, the late King of Pop, in ways some of us can't even begin to fathom. The video above will make it easier to understand how that came to happen.

Sent our way by one of Michael's millions of fans and truth-seekers, the 20-minute video does a brilliant job at explaining how the singer was wronged in life – there where words could probably fail.

“Repeat something enough times, and it becomes real” - this is exactly what happened to Jackson once he became tabloid fodder.

While alive, the tabloids used every Jackson connection they could find (or make up) to cash in on his fame. In doing so, they soiled his reputation, made his generous and kind charitable endeavors pass by unnoticed, and ultimately broke his spirit.

The way Jackson as a person was treated in the final years of his life by the media is the biggest case of public bullying ever recorded. If we don't acknowledge that, there's no lesson learned and he would have died a broken man in vain.

To all those who believed the rumors about “Wacko Jacko,” “Michael the freak” or any other label the tabs pinned to his name, to all those who say he was never anything more than what was written in the press, to all those who didn't bother to know him as his fans did: take 20 minutes and watch the video above.

Michael gave a lot of his own time to us, it's the least we can do.
