With the release date for “The Dark Knight Rises” looming in, there has been a lot of speculation about Chris Nolan's next project and whether it would be on the same huge scale as his most recent 3 films.

Michael Caine has an idea but, for the time being, he's only saying that he'll be in it.

Empire caught up with Caine and asked him how he felt about Nolan ending the Batman franchise.

“He's got to go on, he's got some other idea, and I'm in it! I've been in everything he's done since he's been in Hollywood. We're each others’ good luck charms. I always say to him, 'I'm not your good luck charm, you are mine!' (laughs),” he says.

Voices online are pointing out that, while Caine remains one of Nolan's closest collaborators, he wasn't really in all his Hollywood movies: he did not star in “Insomnia,” which is hailed as Nolan's breakthrough film in Hollywood.

If he's wrong about that, he could be wrong (or intentionally misleading) on other things as well.
