When you're responsible for a masterpiece series like Metal Gear, shifting to a more prolific market is only a matter of time. Hideo Kojima, the "father" of the newest installment in the Metal Gear series wants to make a change, now that the console wars have begun.

Avoiding the questions about MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots, the famous producer plans to deliver something to the Xbox 360 fans. Although details have not yet been revealed, Kojima plans to get involved in the production of PC games, although his crew is more accustomed to working on the consoles. Wii is also a console that is most likely to host games produced by Kojima and his team, after he will be finished with the work on Metal Gear Solid 4.

While being a hardcore fan of Gears of War, the producer intends to create something for the next-gen consoles and we wouldn't be surprised to play the newest Metal Gear installment on Microsoft's console. Kojima's orientation towards the PC is obvious since he knows that the Wii doesn't use HD graphics and the Xbox games are stored on a standard DVD. The only problem seems to be that the people from Kojima Productions are not yet used to working on PC titles.

Still no launch date for the fourth Metal Gear and mister Kojima already thinks about the next sequel and eventually some ports of the famous stealth-action game. The PC ports have not been received so well, because of the camera and control problems. Maybe we'll see a fifth game featuring Solid Snake on our computers, but I don't quite know if the fans would be pleased with this change, especially if they're console freaks.
