Called Fun Series, it is made of eight storage devices in total

Memorex doesn't crop up on the news often, because it's usually comfortable making a living off normal consumer data storage like optical disks and random flash drives. Still, sometimes it has news-worthy things to show off, like now.

Basically, the company has formally launched a new line of USB flash drives shaped like animals.

There are Turtle, Snail, Crab, Fish, Froggy, Ladybug, Croco and Dino.

Well, they aren't actually all available yet. From the press release, I gather that the Turtle and Snail will only be up for order in the first quarter of 2014.

The capacity options are significantly fewer than the shapes though. In fact, there are no options at all. Every Fun Series USB drive is an 8 GB unit. At least they all have key chains and prices that don't cause heart attacks ($19.99 / €19.99).
