A new 10-inch tablet will soon be released by ASUS, one that seeks to satisfy the demands of people with less money than others.

Where normal 10.1-inch tablets ship for $499 or more, this one, called MeMo Pad Smart 10, will have a price of $300 / 300 Euro.

This will be in spite of the actually decent hardware, and with 16 GB of storage to boot instead of 8 GB or less.

For those who want a sort of hardware list, the Android tablet has a Tegra 3 SoC backed by 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB storage and a screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

ASUS is bound to say when and where sales will begin as soon as CeBIT 2013 comes around. According to Liliputing, the announcement will happen on March 5, the first day of the show in Hannover, Germany.
