Meizu's fans everywhere are more than happy to welcome the classier, the revamped miniOne M8 , in 100 % black outfit. Known especially for its amazing similarities with the popular iPhone, the new Meizu features a couple of improvements, since last time we?ve checked.

The first major change was operated at the screen level, which has been visibly expanded to 3.4 inches from a mere 3.3 inches. Besides that, the other significant change they operated is the price tag, which has been downsized to 1990 yuan, aka 265 bucks, 2390 yuan-320 bucks and 2990 yuan-400 bucks for various storage capacity sizes of 4, 8 and 16GB, respectively.

When it comes to comparing the Apple iPhone, with its Chinese step-brother Meizu 8, the PMP sports smaller size of 105 x 57 x 11.5mm, a VGA 720 x 480 pixels resolution and the same touchscreen display. Apple's iPhone works with Mac OS X, while the Meizu fellow can only work with Windows CE 6.0. It also differs when it comes to its internal components, as the PMP uses 533 Mhz Samsung Processor, ARM11 667MHZ+ video decoder/encoder and video codec.

The black "beast" also incorporates a 3.0 mega pixel primary camera in back, as well as a 0.3 megapixel video conferencing camera in the front.

If you're interested in the PMPs pricing and availability details, you should know that Meizu MiniOne M8 is expected to go up for sale in early 2008. Sadly, the official final specs and price tag have not been confirmed. However, some importers said the 16GB version of the 3G MiniOne for $988.50 and a claimed "in stock" date of December 7th, 2007.

All in all, as long as it features the same resemblances with the iPhone device and boosts 16GB of storage capacity, there shouldn't be any problem at all. Better and cheaper is always wiser.
