Meizu announced more details regarding the up coming M6 SE PMP media player.

According to some recent forum posts, it seems that the M6 player is going to be highly improved to satisfy every need of the consumers.

The SE latest version sports a highly improved look and a screen enlargement from 0.01 to 2.41 inches, even more generous than a lot of Teclast items. This time, the M6SE features a more elaborate design.

The player sports a 7mm thin body, not 10 mm like the previous one, and supports MPEG4, MPEG2, WMV9, H236/264, RM(VB) videos running at 30 frames per second in 720 x 480 pixel resolution at 30 FTS and TV Out, so the videos can be easily spewed to TV, for better viewing.

It won't need any conversion to playback videos, anymore. With its 600mAh confirmed battery power, the player will support up to 30 hours of continuous music playback, 3 hours of VGA high quality playback and 5 hours of QVGA.

According to Meizu, the new M6 will be marketed at the beginning of July in China. The Meizu representatives stated that the M6 SE set is going to be released in the 4Q or 2007. As usual, don't expect it to hit the Pacific coast too soon.

The second Edition player features a nicer design than its previous version and a couple of extra options. For all the audiophiles out there, the player comes with a lot of functions of Fm radio and FM and voice recording.

It can also store games and can deal with OTG functions and USB host for easier data access. Unfortunately, the company warned of possible delays regarding the launch date, as it prepares the M8 for its fans. I believe some manufacturers should learn a couple of lessons from Meizu!
