Claiming that it doesn't look like the iPhone anymore

Just as Apple's iPhone was unveiled, out came all the talks about iPhone killers, look-alikes, rivals and more. The handset that so far managed to be considered all of the aforementioned things rolled into one was Meizu's M8 miniOne.

At first, after the Apple's announcement, Meizu spent quite some time turning a product that didn't look that much like the iPhone, into an iPhone look-alike.

After noticing that the similarity between the two handsets could lead to some serious trouble and litigation with Apple, the company has now decided to go in the completely opposite direction and try to turn the iPhone clone it had created into one that didn't look like Apple's phone at all. Unfortunately, they're not really doing a good job at it.

Recently, they have even presented a new and re-designed M8 MiniOne that, according to them, looks quite different compared to the previous one, and less like the iPhone. Since photos were provided, it's up to anyone to judge whether or not the miniOne is different.

But if it weren't for the before and after photos, one could hardly even tell that something has changed. Anyone who likes spotting the differences puzzles will definitely enjoy comparing the new and old Meizu phone. The phone's metallic-like frame is somewhat thicker and the bottom side is slightly different.

Moreover, if you take the time to really analyze the photos, there are a few other really insignificant changes here and there. Bottom line is, Meizu's M8 miniOne may not look exactly the same, but the changes it went through definitely don't make it look less like the iPhone.
