Still, the most obvious choice for Meizu would be to announced the MX5, which we already know about from previous reports.

Fans of the Chinese brand probably know that the MX5 will be made of metal, but there were few elements confirming this information. Luckily, the folks over at GizmoChina got their hands on a new set of pictures that show Meizu MX5's metal shell.

The metal case will give the MX5 a premium look and feel, though it will probably weigh heavy on the phone's final price.

It will ship with Android Lollipop OS onboard

Speaking of which, the cited source also states that it has managed for learn about the possible outright price of the Meizu MX5. The good news is the Chinese company is expected to launch the MX5 in the Mainland for just 1,799 yuan, which is about $290.

That's a pretty good price for a premium smartphone made of metal and packing high-end specs. The leaked photos also show that the Meizu MX5 might come with fingerprint scanner, which has become a trend these days.

The rest of the phone's specs were leaked a while ago, but for those out of the loop, here is a short recap. Meizu MX5 will be powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6798T processor and 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. We also know the MX5 should boast a 20-megapixel camera on the back with Sony sensor, as well as a large 3,150 mAh non-removable battery inside.
