It looks like Chinese company Meizu is very busy these days with numerous smartphone launches. After introducing the M2 Note, Meizu is now gearing up for at least two more releases, M2 and MX5.

The company's flagship smartphone, Meizu MX5 will be unveiled on June 30, according to a press invitation received by AndroidHeadlines.

Although we originally thought that Meizu might announce the mid-range M2 later this month, it looks like the Chinese company has other plans in mind.

The MX5 might not be the only smartphone announced on June 30, as rumor has it that Meizu plans to launch a Pro version of the MX5.

Now, aside from the fact that the MX5 might be officially unveiled later this month, no new info on the upcoming smartphone has been revealed.

However, we do have some info on Meizu's MX5 specs sheet, which suggests this will definitely be a very powerful smartphone.

But the best thing about Meizu's high-end smartphones is the fact that they are priced much lower in comparison with the competition.

Quad HD AMOLED display and MediaTek's Helio X10 CPU

We don't know how much MX5 will cost, but we do know that it will boast a stunning 5.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

As for the chipset inside, Meizu has decided to skip Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor in favor of MediaTek's new 64-bit octa-core Helio X10 CPU.

Rumor has it that the smartphone will pack 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which, sadly, won't be expandable. On the back, there will be a 20-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front a 5-megapixel camera has been confirmed.

We also know Meizu MX5 measures 146 x 74.6 x 7.9mm, and it should weigh 147g (battery included). Speaking of which, the smartphone will be powered by a 3,150 mAh battery and it will offer 4G LTE support.
