Meizu, an electronics company, is finally disclosing M7's specification list. The company's portable media was also called the "iPod Touch killer", due to its amazing resemblance to the Apple's item. The thing is this is not the first time Meizu gets into the copying game. But who cares when its final product looks so sexy.

The design is still a sort of mixture between the brand new iMac and the iPhone, imitating the iPod Touch. We don't know if it uses the same multi-touch patterns. Hopefully, it does. Therefore, the M7 PMP is revealing a 2.81-inch touch screen with a 480 x 288 pixels resolution, a 15:9 aspect ratio and 16.6 million colors. Size matters when purchasing a portable media player, so I guess 89 x 48 x 7. 3mm dimension is just about the right size.

Regarding the player's capabilities, it can deal with most of the file formats available on the market, such as H.264 at a 720 x 480 pixels resolution (30 fps). Not to mention the user can even watch the data content on a big screen, as the manufactures have integrated a TV out option in the menu.

According to the user's needs, the manufacturers packed the player's internal storage capacity in different sizes of 2GB, 4GB and 8GB, which is nothing compared to iPod Touch's 16GB one. But that's not the only difference between the copy and the original.

However if you're interested in the pricing and availability details of the Meizu's latest M7, you should know the company aims at prices of 70, 80 and 110 euros, respectively, for the versions I have already mentioned. Which is a decent price, if we consider that Apple is offering its iPod Touch with 16GB storage for a relatively hefty 400 bucks price tag.
