Only a couple of days ago, director Joseph Kahn confirmed on Twitter that he’d been approached to come up with an idea and then helm the video for Eminem’s latest hit single, his duet with Rihanna, “Love the Way You Lie.” Since then, speculation has been rife about the stars that may appear in it, and Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan’s name have also been tossed into the mix.

Though official confirmation of their participation is yet to be made, E! Online has learned that the deal is nearly a done one. Dominic and Megan are to come on the set towards the end of this week (tomorrow, to be more precise) and shoot their scenes for the video. What’s more, they will be playing Eminem and his ex-wife Kim, in what is another material that comes from Em and is heavily inspired by his incredibly troubled relationship to his ex.

“There’s still no official word that Megan Fox is teaming up with Lost star Dominic Monaghan for the Eminem and Rihanna music video, but whatever. Sounds like it’s pretty much a done deal at this point. Sources tell me Fox and Monaghan are to be on set of the ‘Love the Way You Lie’ video tomorrow and Friday to shoot their steamy sequences. Their roles are apparently inspired by Eminem’s relationship with ex-wife Kim (They married and divorced twice!),” E! writes.

Sources from the set are saying for E! that the two actors will shoot one scene where they’re making love, followed by another one where they’re having a violent fight, and then by another one of making love. “The source described the look and feel of the video as ‘gritty’ with ‘lots of passion.’ Video director Joseph Kahn twittered on Monday that he was shooting the vid, but he has yet to mention Fox or Monaghan. Earlier today, he posted, ‘Paparazzi stop trying to ruin my shots. Thank you’,” E! further says.

RapRadar managed to snap Rihanna and Eminem on the set of the video (photo attached to the article), thus putting to rest talk that neither will be featured in it. As per the same e-zine, “Love the Way You Lie” is currently atop of all the US singles charts, while Eminem’s comeback album, “Recovery,” is still holding on tight to the number one position.
