You might have noticed how amazing Megan Fox is looking these days, especially considering that she gave birth to her second child in February this year. She immediately lost whatever pregnancy weight she’d gained and even seems more toned than before.

If you thought it’s all down to good genes, you were wrong. Megan is about to return to the big screen with “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” and she’s been doing countless interviews to promote it. In 2 of them, she also spoke about her “secret” to her amazing, insanely hot figure.

The “secret” isn’t one per se: it’s just the age-old combination of eating healthy and working out, which has always been known to return amazing results.

Still, Megan tells E! News, her diet isn’t at all fun because she’s not even allowed cheat days. Such a great body doesn’t come without some amount of sacrifice, that much is clear.

“I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy. The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day,” she tells the celebrity publication. And just you wait and hear what she has to say about her workouts!

“I exercise really hard twice a week. I got my ass kicked this morning before I came here! I do bursts of cardio with really heavy weights. Circuit training. I don't have any cheat days, but if I did, it would be pizza or cake,” Megan continues.

The video embedded below is of her appearance on ABC’s The View, in which she also talks about her “secret” to an amazing figure. She explains that making time to work out is very difficult when you have 2 small kids, which is why she only does it twice a week – but for 2 hours on end.

She insists that she eats no carbs and “nothing fun,” and that she gets no cheat days, and comes across as resigned to the sadness of her situation: being in an industry in which a great figure and a great face get you more exposure and work offers, it’s not like Megan has any other option but to stick to this routine.

On the bright side, she appears genuinely thrilled with the movie, which opens in theaters today, Friday, August 8, 2014, even though the early reviews for it are disastrous. She explains that she wanted to do something fun, for her kids to see when they grow up. Whoopi Goldberg chimes in to explain that this was her motivation in seeking a part in it as well.
