You might not know it by looking at her, but Megan Fox was once less stunning than she is today. In fact, she says in a new interview for Miami Magazine, she was quite ugly.

The former “Transformers” star, who has been constantly praised for her looks, reveals that there were times when she wasn't the most gorgeous girl on the block.

“I was never the pretty girl,” she says in the interview, describing herself back then as “obnoxious,” “abrasive” and a “loner.”

If you're not ready to take Megan for her word, then a simple Google search will lead you to this, her yearbook photo: if this girl isn't “pretty,” there's probably very little hope for the rest of us.

In the same interview, Fox, who has been taking some time off from the spotlight after the “Transformers” media scandal, talks about her new project, a rom-com called “Friends with Kids,” in which she has only a minor role.

Her focus right now isn't to make a lot of movies she's not happy with, but only films she'll be proud of once their out, even if they don't include a leading role for her.

“I’d rather be with good people in a movie than the other way around,” she says. “Friends with Kids” was just this kind of movie.

“Most of the cast knew each other very well already – Kristen and Maya are BFFs; it was such a nice, welcoming, supporting environment. I always try to choose something different than what I’ve done before,” she says.

On the same note, of her career until she was fired from “Transformers,” the 25-year-old star delicately lays the blame for that on her being a bigmouth.

She's too honest about everything and it eventually comes back at her to bite her in the you-know-what.

“I’ll fight to death for something I believe in, and I’ll be completely honest – even when being completely honest is maybe not the wisest way to be,” Megan says.

She's matured now a bit in this respect, she's learned her lesson.

“I’ve learned you can do yourself a disservice by being too honest too quickly,” she adds.

Fans must know that Megan was fired after she badmouthed director Michael Bay and the very film whose star she was, “Transformers.”
