The actress looks seductively in her first photo on the social media site

Megan Fox is complaining that she doesn't have any time between her acting career and raising her small children, but that didn't stop her from setting up an Instagram account and begin posting selfies for the masses.

On July 3, the actress quietly joined the world's largest photo sharing social media site, and her first post was a photo in which she claims she doesn't have any make-up on. While that claim is still up for debate, Megan is certainly not the first celebrity to get into the “no make-up” photo craze, presumably in an effort to dispel any doubts about her natural good looks.

The photo was captioned with “First IG selfie. Early morning no makeup (sic),” and indeed, the actress seemed to be wearing nothing but a white bathroom robe in the photo that sees her looking demurely at the camera, with pouting lips and deep blue eyes.

Cynical as we are, we can't help but find quite a few flaws in her “no make-up” statement that would contradict her fresh-faced statement. First of all, her eyelashes seems to be incredibly curled, a look that you don't normally get without mascara and a curler, and her skin looks very white and flawless.

Of course, that could very well be the result of the filter applied to the photo (don't believe those who tell you that there's no filter on this shot). Then, there's also the issue of her lips, which seem to have the slightest shade of gloss applied to them.

It's been proved that the “no make-up” look that many celebrities out there advertise is essentially toned-down make-up, that is, make-up that doesn't make you look like a clown. This includes natural-skin color foundation, subtle shades of lipstick, and even subtler colors for the make-up around the eyes, enough to simply remove dark circles and other marks.

Sneaky? Yes. Effective? Most definitely. As far as Megan is concerned, she's used to controversies when it comes to her looks. Let's not forget that she's still plagued by all those scandals that have her as the subject of multiple plastic surgeries that have granted her current good looks.

As far as Megan is concerned, she's all natural, and, as she said in an interview from a couple of years ago, her definition of beauty is “simplicity, elegance and sensuality. Ava Gardner is my beauty icon. I think that when a woman is in harmony with herself and remains true to her values, she will glow naturally. Femininity doesn't depend on what you wear or how you look. It's an attitude.”

Words to live by, surely. What do you think, is Megan really not wearing any make-up in this photo or is she just covering her minor flaws with subtle make-up? Sound off below in the comments section.
