She’s even telling her sons all about her pinup status

Don’t hate Megan Fox because she’s beautiful – and don’t you dare to box her in just because of her pinup status. The actress, who is still promoting “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” with red carpet appearances and interviews, is now talking with Loaded Magazine about her status as one of the hottest women on the planet and how that shouldn’t work against her.

Contrary to general belief that she’s more beauty than brains (or acting talent, for that matter), Megan insists she’s ok with being considered a hottie because she knows she’s not “a stupid girl.”

Being beautiful doesn’t mean you’re dumb

There was a time when even people who had worked with Megan went on the record to say that she was dumber than a rock, and that there was no more to her than her sizzling good looks and a very nasty diva attitude.

That was back in the day when she was literally being pushed out of Hollywood because of comments made about director Michael Bay and the staff on the “Transformers” franchise, right before she went on a break.

The Megan of today is saying that she’s happy she was blessed with such good looks because she can prove to the world you can have beauty and brains in the same package. So go ahead, call her a hottie to her face and she won’t mind.

“I enjoy it and embrace it. I think it’s actually part of my personality, part of my essence and my being is that sort of pin-up image and I enjoy it because I know I’m not a stupid girl and I don’t have to solely rely on that. I’m aware that being clever and a pin-up makes me dangerous and I enjoy that,” Megan explains, as cited by The Mirror.

She’s even telling her sons of her hottie status, because she wants them to know that being labeled one “doesn’t mean you’re stupid or vapid.” “I don’t want my sons to grow up and think there’s anything wrong with that [being a pin-up] or that women should be underestimated for something like that,” she continues.

The new Megan is learning to use a filter in interviews

The first “Transformers” film put Megan Fox on the map among the A-listers, acting as a trampoline to her. Because there wasn’t much acting going on in it, not many rushed to proclaim her the hottest actress around, but everyone agreed at least on that first part: she certainly was hot!

However, what Megan lacked entirely at that time was a filter in her chats with the press. She often came across as ungrateful, annoying and just plain dumb and offensive in interviews, because she would just speak her mind on whatever topic proposed to her, without giving it too much thought.

From discussing fame in general (her favorite subject of conversation) to comparing Michael Bay to Hitler and saying she was sorry she was in “Transformers” because her acting talent was wasted in the role, was but a step. She took it.

The backlash was huge and her downfall impressive. Now, a few years later, Megan seems to have learned how to use a filter in her talks with the press, because she’s managed to promote “TMNT” without offending anyone – and she’s been doing it for months.
