Ladies and gentleman, please welcome the Venusian JXD951 portable media player!

Apart from the irresistible slim design, the player sports a 4-inch 720 x 480 pixels TFT LCD screen with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, generous enough to enable comfortable viewing of the latest music video.

For the ones that can hardly wait to take instant shoots with the PMP, the player comes equipped with a 2 megapixel camera; and with the integrated micro-SD extension, you can make even more room for as much data content as you need.

Not to mention the built-in FM tuner, that can be a real entertainment idea for morning news or listening to foreign DJs, while traveling to Holland.

Regarding the capabilities, the Venus player can easily deal with video file formats at 30fps and comes compatible with DivX, XviD AVI, ASF video, MPEG-4 and Flash Player, so almost all the file formats available on the market.

Until PMPtoday posted the news about the player's launching, the Venus PMP was being displayed on a Chinese website a month ago, so its specs and pics were no secret to anyone.

The former version of the player, the JDX950 came equipped with a 20 GB storage capacity and a 4.0 inches screen size, while the Internet reviews gave it important credits for the picture quality rather than for its functions and costs.

As for the audio ones, it can read MP3, WMA and WAV file formats. The player's form factor is 118 x 73 x 13.3mm, so comfy it can be used in buses while commuting. It weighs only 95 grams, light enough not to give you a back pain while you carry it in your purse or bag.

I guess the Chinese electronic manufactures and the aliens are somehow related after all!
