Mediacom offers a plethora of tablet products and this is the latest

European device maker Mediacom has rolled out a couple of new 7-inch tablets hoping the woo-in the few remaining souls who still don’t own a tablet computer.

The first one called the PhonePad Duo G700 is equipped with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and bundles a MediaTek MTK6577 SoC (includes dual-core ARM Cortex A9 clocked at 1.2GHz and PowerVR SGX531) combined with 1GB of RAM.

Moving on, we have a 5MP on the back and 0.3MP in front, 3G, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0 and a rechargeable Li-poly 3000 mAh battery. If you're interested you can purchase the G700 for €139.90 / $192 a pop.

The PhonePad Duo G702 on the other hand, ups things a little in the specs department, offering a LCD display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Power is drawn a MediaTek MT8389 SoC (with quad-core ARM Cortex A7 clocked at 1.2GHz and PowerVRSGX544MP2 GPU).

The cameras onboard are a little better too (a decent 8MP on the back and 2MP in front) and the tablet runs Android 4.2 out of the box, as opposed to the G700 which has only Android 4.1. The better PhonePad sells for €159 / $218 but if you save up a little more money you might be able to purchase something similar form a brand vendor.
