Starting today, MeasureMap, a tool for measuring blogs and strongly dedicated to making bloggers around the world feel comfortable and connected to their audiences, was acquired by Google from Adaptive Path.

Talking about the acquisition and the near/long term consequences, Jeff Veen expressed his enthusiasm and optimism regarding the future of MeasureMap within the "big G".

On this occasion, he reassured users that their mission did not change: the company will still strive to make people understand and appreciate the effects of their blogs on the rest of the world as well as on themselves.

For the ones who are not familiar with MeasureMap and what its other attributes are, beside an easy setup, it also provides easy navigation for the numbers that matter, tracks links for the blogger to see who sends them traffic and helps bloggers find out what people do on their sites.
