What do you think computer users are looking for when trying to purchase a new desktop computer chassis? And I'm not talking about your average Joe, who takes pleasure in playing Solitaire or just creating one or two office documents. I'm talking about those users who place significant importance on the way their desktop computer looks like and behaves. With this in mind, I can tell you for certain that they will be looking for the meanest-looking chassis. And this is why a number of manufacturers are releasing their own versions of mean-looking cases - among them, you can also find NZXT.

The company, which strives to offer gaming users some of the best computer chassis money can buy, has announced yesterday the release of its Khaos case. Built to shelter a high-performance desktop gaming computer, the Khaos provides a number of features that are meant to make the installation process an easy task for any system builder. The case is specifically designed to offer the required level of airflow for the desktop computer, thus ensuring the high level of performance.

"With Khaos, we have achieved an optimal balance of elegant, symmetric design and an unparalleled set of features, effectively creating the ultimate powerhouse gaming chassis housed in a work of art," said Johnny Hou, Chief Designer at NZXT. "With features like three-channel cooling, dual power supply support, and a thick aluminum build, PC Enthusiasts and Gamers have a lot to be excited about." he further said.

Although dubbed Khaos, this case is meant to actually put an end to the chaos inside any high-end PC. The unit provides shelter for every individual hardware component, separating them according to their own level of heat generation. Coming with a thick aluminum build, the Khaos is thus synonymous with a high degree of protection for the computer. With the Khaos, users will also have a high number of expandability bays, 11 to be more exact.

The case is expected to arrive in stores in mid-June and will come with a $399 price tag.
