Maximum ASP's MaxV Virtual Dedicated Cloud Platform Gets a Boost

Although it was founded rather recently, specifically in 2000, as an outsourcing firm for Windows-based hosting services, the company was named 2009 Hosting Solutions Partner of the Year by Microsoft. In tune with its gold-certified status, MaximumASP not only upgraded the software support of its MaxV dedicated cloud platform, but even increased its system capabilities for high-speed computing, while still retaining full support for all of its hosting plans.

The full array of customizable features that a MaxV Virtual Dedicated Cloud Server can be built with include most hardware and software features. Servers can be built with up to four vCPUs and an 8GB memory, whereas High-Speed SAN storage can have as high a capacity as 250GB. The software resources that the MaxV can have at its disposal include the aforementioned Windows Server 2008 R2 (whether 32- or 64-bit ) or the older Windows Server 2003 OS.

Backup operations may be done via the System Center Data Protection Manager (which enables recurrent data backups) and Intelligent Monitoring is achieved by the System Center Operations Manager. The servers will also come with the System Center Configuration Manager, which will allow for the custom patching of the Windows OS and, naturally, all MaxVs will have remote desktop capabilities.

The upgrades will allow MaxESP, MaxV, and dedicated servers to be outfitted with the Windows Server 2008 R2 edition and all MaxV customers will be able to select the hardware resources of their respective cloud servers based on their individual computing and networking needs. MaxV is compatible with Maximum ASP's high-performance Shared SQL Servers, including both SQL Server 2008 and the older SQL Server 2005.

All the aforementioned physical and software resources will be available without any hidden fees and plans will start at $99 per month without the need for contracts. The first month will be a free trial period, to allow interested parties to make their own evaluation without incurring any financial losses.
