A new MP3 player is out and it looks and feels great. Unfortunately, you will discover the striking resemblance with the famous Apple?s iPod, as Maxfield?s player comes in the same glossy black finish but with LG Chocolate red buttons.

So? another iPod similar gadget that will soon hit the worldwide retail market and a manufacturer that hopes to steal a piece of Apple cake. But Maxfield?s MP3 player really is a one-of-kind and it also might be cheaper than the iPod. The internal memory is not so stunning but it is sufficient for your favorite tracks that will cram into 1GB of flash memory.

The player comes in only 30.5g, measuring 81 x 34 x 8mm, being also able to playback no less than 12 hours of music (when playing MP3, 128 Kbps, 44.1 KHz, EQ Normal, Volume 20). Max-Sin Touch is powered by a 3.7 V Li-Polymer battery.

The OLED display has almost the same size as the iPod, but it lights up in LG?s favorite color ? red. The best part about this player is the built-in 3D surround sound (SRS, TruBass and WOW) complemented by the TrueBass feature. On the other hand, the Max-Sin Touch is compatible with MP3s (MPEG1, 2, 2.5 Layer III), WMA (Windows Media Audio), WMA-DRM (Microsoft DRM-protected files up to version 9), and OGG (64KB/s to 500KB/s).

Furthermore, the player also features miscellaneous functions such as several playback modes ? normal, repeat one, repeat all, random and random all, exact resume function, playlist function, directory navigation, voice recording (internal microphone), equalizer - normal, classic, pop, jazz, rock and user 1+2, and even multi-language text support (text viewer).
