Matt Damon, People’s magazine hottest man for 2007, is about to become a father again, his publicist confirms for the same media outlet. The actor and his wife Luciana are expecting their third child together and the fourth for the family, as Luciana has a daughter from a previous relationship. She is due this fall.

“Matt Damon and his wife Luciana are set to welcome a fourth child to the family. Luciana, 34, is due in the fall. ‘Everybody’s really happy,’ a rep for Damon, 39, tells People. The couple already have three daughters: Alexia, 11, who is Luciana’s child from a previous marriage, Isabella, who will be 4 in June, and Gia, 20 months,” People magazine reports.

Matt, long considered one of the most handsome and desirable men in showbiz, has never been what the tabloids might call “a player.” Still, when he met and then married Luciana in 2005 and later started a family, his life changed completely, as he gushed in several interviews throughout the years. Suddenly, he had a purpose and things he’d once considered important were revealed in another light and consequently lost all their relevance.

“I really used to have no life outside movies. I’d work all day, go to the gym and go to sleep. [Once daughter Isabella came into my life] that was it for me and working out because I wanted to get home to see my daughter before she went to sleep,” Matt said in an interview cited by People. His father skills impressed even his best friend George Clooney, who once called him a “phenomenal” father, saying, as per the same publication, “He absolutely adores those kids. He’s doing it really well.”

In other, less happy Matt Damon-related news, in mid-March this year, the actor made the announcement that would break the hearts of all fans of the “Jason Bourne” films: he would not be returning to the franchise, if the studio decided to do another sequel. There’s a time that’s right for sequels and a time when you just know you have to stop forgetting who you are, the actor said back then in reference to his character’s recurring amnesia.
