For the first time in his long career, Matt Damon made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and, as expected, had a blast with it. As the video at the end of the article will confirm, Matt is now promoting his latest film, “The Adjustment Bureau.”

First things first though: when coming in, Matt locked lips with Ellen in a passionate embrace, and then told her that she had the honor of being the first woman he kissed since getting married.

Then, Ellen asked him if he really hadn’t seen the latest “Bourne” product that was making the rounds, getting everybody talking – and she was very much surprised when he answered her in the negative.

No, Ellen was not referring to the upcoming “Bourne” installment / reboot we informed you of the other day.

“I can’t believe you haven’t even seen this finished product of the new ‘Bourne Identity’ movie,” Ellen told Matt. “I don’t even remember making it,” he replied.

To prove him that it existed, Ellen played a mock trailer of it, where Matt’s head was superimposed on Lady Gaga’s body, as taken from her latest video for “Born This Way.”

The film would be called, of course, “Bourne This Way.”

“It was the diet that was the hardest part. I just remember just not being able to eat anything. And the workouts were brutal,” Matt said, playing along with Ellen.

Later in the interview, on a more serious note, Damon talked a bit about his upcoming film, “The Adjustment Bureau,” basically dealing with the theme that destiny is in the choices we make.

Speaking of life-altering choices, the actor recalled the first time when he met his wife and how he almost passed on the opportunity because he was too tired and didn’t feel like going out with cast members for a beer.

“We ended up at a bar where my wife was the bartender. I literally saw her across a crowded room and eight years and four kids later, that’s my life,” Matt revealed, literally beaming with pride.

“I don’t know how else our paths would have crossed if that didn’t happen. The moral is that when you're tired, suck it up and go to the bar because you might meet your wife,” he joked.
