Here you will find the PC exclusive features, detailed

We already know that BioWare has made our day by announcing that it plans to release the beloved RPG Mass Effect for PC sooner than anybody would've hoped - this May, but the details were pretty scarce. We knew that the game will be "re-designed" and that was enough to make us hope for a great PC experience and not only a poor Xbox 360 port. Anyway, we now have a few more details for you. Check them out.

First, let me tell you exactly what you want to hear: the answer to the question "Which are the exclusive contents for the PC version?". Well, we will first get a bit more tactical, since we'll get a brand new squad control interface, which will allow players to issue commands to individual squad members. As announced before, we will be able to set some hot keys. Here's how all this will work: you can map to individual keys your biotic powers and abilities, in order to make the game a little less tactical (just to compensate the first implementation) and allowing a faster "run and gun" style of gameplay. Bring it on, baby!

If, until now, we don't have some really big things - we'll probably be able to ignore these two new features and never miss them, the most important part follows now. First of all, we will have a completely re-designed Mako control scheme. The Mako is the terrain vehicle and, for the PC version, we'll get a fully camera-independent control system, which is absolutely great.

The "new stuff" saga continues with a little but really precious button - the quick save one, which will come together with the quick save option (of course), as well as an increased number of save slots. The PC game fans like to save a lot, you know that. Also, we'll get a new inventory screen and GUI system, but we already told you that - and we did the same regarding the new decryption mini-game. If more details emerge, we'll be the first to tell them. So stay tuned!

Oh, and I almost forgot - the release date is set, solid and really close. It will no longer be "sometime during this May", but on the 6th of the month. And, boy, that seems to be so close!
