RPGs (Role Playing Games) are one of the most popular types of video games out there, having won over a lot of fans both thanks to their more detailed experience than the one encountered in shooters and due to the fact that you slowly start off with a weak character and, as you progress through the game, you become more and more powerful.

Among the latest RPGs to arrive last year was the PC version of Mass Effect, a space-themed futuristic title that gave you a lot of choices and opportunities, guaranteeing you over 40 hours of content in the game. While the console version, made exclusively for the Xbox 360, won over a lot of fans, things weren't quite the same with the PC version.

Some players complained that bugs and glitches were frequent and that made the whole experience very unpleasant. That is why BioWare has recently posted on the forum of the game details about an upcoming patch for the PC version of the popular RPG. Although there have been no specific details on the issues that will be fixed, Chris Priestly, the community coordinator, has said that the development team is currently watching over a lot of forums and will address the problems posted there.

“BioWare is pleased to announce there will be a new patch for Mass Effect for the PC coming soon,” reads the forum post made by Priestly. “This patch will be jointly developed by BioWare and Demiurge and will be available for all versions of Mass Effect PC (retail, Steam and other digital distribution sources). When we have more information on the content of the patch or when it will be available, we will let you know.”

So it looks like the PC version of Mass Effect will have a lot of its problems solved soon enough. Hopefully this will make a lot of PC gamers interested in it once again and they will all be able to experience this top-notch game.
