Mass Effect 3 is nearing its release on March 6, 2012, so BioWare, its developer, has just presented the series of pre-order bonuses players can get in the actual game.

Mass Effect 3 is Softpedia’s most anticipated game of 2012, largely because it will end the trilogy of stunning games made by BioWare by depicting the final adventures of Commander Shepard.

Now, after already promoting the Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector’s Edition, BioWare has presented the pre-order bonuses that will be given to those who pre-purchase the game at select retailers from around the world.

First up, anyone who pre-orders Mass Effect 3 from any retailer will get the M55 Argus Assault Rifle. Those who get the game from Electronic Arts’ own Origin service will get another weapon, in the form of the AT12 Raider Shotgun. Those who get the title from retailers like EB Gamers or GameStop, will get the N7 Defender Armor, with amplified shields as well as a special N7 Valkyrie Assault Rifle.

“Prepare for the Reaper invasion today and secure your pre-order gear! Shrug off enemy fire with the N7 Defender Armor and its amplified shields then drop the opposition with high caliber fire from the N7 Valkyrie Assault Rifle,” BioWare said about the pre-order bonus items.

“When the enemy has overwhelming numbers bring the M55 Argus Assault Rifle into battle and unleash rapid-fire bursts to even the odds. If the enemy gets too close, stop them dead with the AT12 Raider Shotgun and its superior firepower.”

Those who already got the N7 Collector’s Edition of Mass Effect 3 will automatically receive these bonuses alongside the variety of other in-game and real life goodies that are included in the package.

Until the game is released for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in March, check out the full details on its pre-order bonuses in the videos below.
