Nothing can stand in the way of a determined dog, especially when he is involved in a wild chase. The dogs featured in the video above prove that any place is their territory when they have a prey to trail.

The clip shows the moment when the animals enter the Southern Middle School in Lothian, Maryland and the dogs chase the terrified deer through the school's hallways. In their attempt to escape, the deer smashed through a glass door of the building and the dogs followed them inside.

According to Yahoo News, the incident happened early on Monday morning. The school had to be closed that day and classes were canceled.

Anne Arundel County police responded when the burglar alarm sounded at about 4AM, and when they arrived to the scene, they found a dead deer, another one severely injured and two dogs running around the building. A third deer apparently survived the attack.

The two dogs, a German shepherd and a Labrador mix, were taken into custody by Animal Control officers. Neither dog had a collar, but police managed to find their owners, who are currently being interviewed by officers.

The damage to the school has been estimated to be between $3,000 and $5,000 (€2,166 to €3,610).
