Nuances for iPod nano 4G are now available from Marware. The company, responsible for some of the most popular designs in iPod, iPhone and MacBook sleeves, reveals that Nuances are temporarily out of stock, but still available for pre-order.

According to its makers, the Nuance is an ultra-slim, colorful Nappa leather case for owners of Apple's slimmest iPod yet, the fourth-generation iPod nano. “With extra detail given to the profile of the new nano, the Nuance provides durable leather protection, as well as a stylish, colorful look,” Marware says. The sleeve adds extra versatility thanks to  a convenient, removable lanyard for hanging on a purse, belt loop, or your wrist.

Main features of the Nuance for iPod nano 4G include a durable, colorful leather construction, a removable carrying strap, a slim profile, which adds style to the nano, and is also perfect for pocket, purse, or just holding in your hand. The sleeves ship with the lanyard, a clear film protector for the iPod's screen and microfiber cleaning cloth.

The two-inch display, with a curved aluminum and glass enclosure, is what defines the new design of the iPod nano. As far as the new functionality goes, this iPod works seamlessly with iTunes importing, managing syncing content, and, additionally, the new Genius feature, included by Apple in the latest version of iTunes. Apple has also decided to include an accelerometer with the device, allowing users to shake-to-shuffle their music, and watch video in landscape view, by turning the device side-ways.

Most recently, owners of an iPod nano 4G could update their software to version 1.0.3, by connecting the device to iTunes. The firmware update adds compatibility with Apple's new headphones and in-ear headphones with remote and mic. The latter should make great friends with the recording app of the 4G nano.
