14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Gazillion announces that it is planning to launch Marvel Heroes 2015, a new title based on the Marvel comic universe, on June 4, allowing gamers to get access to a wealth of new content and some additional game mechanics.
Marvel Heroes was first launched one year ago and the company says that the new release is designed to show those interested how much the title has evolved since then and to deliver all the extra content in one solid game package.
There are extra characters for players to unlock and play as, more game modes to explore and in the new 2015 package, players will be able to also battle Surtur, the ruler of the fire demons.
David Brevik, the chief executive officer of Gazillion, states, “Marvel Heroes 2015 nicely represents everything we have accomplished and intend to accomplish with one name. We've come a very long way since our original launch a year ago, and the now imminent release of Marvel Heroes 2015 alongside our massive anniversary celebrations marks the beginning of something even better.”
The studio says that the new release is a simple way for the player base to see how the title has evolved and also reflects the company’s commitment to the future of the experience.
Brevik adds, “Whether it's defending the X-Mansion or recruiting your favorite superhero as a Team-Up, we're excited to continue delivering on our community's expectations. We truly believe we put more improvements into our game than any other iterative release out there. The 2015 moniker reaffirms our commitment to keep doing it.”
Marvel Heroes is an entirely free-to-play experience, which means that gamers can get access to a selection of superheroes and also to all the content without paying.
Those who are willing to invest real-world money can buy more characters to use and can alter the cosmetic side of their roster, but the game does not include any pay to win mechanics.
The title has full license to use areas, heroes and villains from the Marvel comic book universe, which has become more popular after the launch of the movie series based on The Avengers.
Gazillion is also implementing a number of anniversary events in the game, bringing back ten of the most interesting quests and celebrations that have taken place during the last year.
Marvel Heroes will introduce more characters and areas before the end of the year.
