While most audiophiles will settle for your “regular” top of the line audios setups, there are those that require a higher degree of integration for their speakers, so MartinLogan just announced a new line of in-wall and in-ceiling, architectural speakers, specially designed to cater to the most demanding users out there.

Comprised of nine models, this line of installation speakers uses MartinLogan's new larger, low distortion Folded Motion XT tweeters, along with black-aluminum, high-excursion bass and mid-range drivers.

In addition, the three models that come under MartinLogan's Motion Series also boast rigid poly cone woofers and exotic Folded Motion tweeters.

Moving forward in the company's lineup, the next speaker series to be found is the ElectroMotion Architectural Series, which is also comprised of three models, each of these coming with low-distortion aluminum cone woofers, a topology Vojtko crossover network, and premium wire connections.

And last, but certainly not least, is the Stealth Architectural series which features MartinLogan's advanced topology crossover network boasts polypropylene and low-DF electrolytic capacitors, custom wound inductors as well as thermal and current protection.

Furthermore, the three Stealth models are designed with premium wire connections, a gloss piano-black speaker baffle, and solid one-piece cast aluminum chassis.

To be better suited for their role, all the models are built using low-profile paintable grilles with virtually no bezel, a magnetic system securing the grilles into place.

"We went back to the drawing board on styling and performance, and designed these speakers to be as visually unobtrusive as possible while maintaining stunning sound, voice-matched to our electrostatic speakers," says Carl Masters, MartinLogan's mechanical designer.

As far as pricing is concerned, the Motion series starts at $249.95 per speaker, ElectroMotion models start at $399.95 each while pricing for the Stealth series has not been disclosed yet.

MartinLogan's speakers are slated to be available starting spring 2011, apart from the three ElectroMotion models that are scheduled for a summer release.
